    Are the rates valid for 1 or 2 people?
    All rates for packages are quoted on a per person basis.
    Why is a single tour cost more expensive than a twin cost?
    When 2 people are sharing the same room the cost per person is less because the price for accommodation is divided for 2 people. When it's only 1 person, then he/she is occupying a room all to themselves they need to charge a single supplement for the accommodation. Single price is the price for a person traveling alone.
    What if I want a tailor made itinerary?
    Based on our vast experience in dealing with international travelers, we had put together a selection of most popular city packages and extensive itineraries. The great advantage of city packages is the ability to mix and match them to suite your individual requirements. We are flexible as much as we can, however as you can appreciate, our travel consultants will spend considerable time on your behalf preparing a tailor made itinerary for your approval. Therefore we ask for an AUD$50.00 deposit which, of course, will be deducted from your final invoice. However, should you decide not to go ahead with the itinerary, this is non refundable.
    If I just want to add or delete a day or a couple of days from the suggested itinerary?
    We understand that sometimes you need a little more flexibility within our suggested itineraries, so please advise at the time of enquiry or booking on your travel dates, and we will re-quote for you based on your schedule.
    Can I book my air tickets with Australian Travel Club?
    Flights are generally more economical if they are booked in the country of commencement of travel. With the introduction of cheap carriers within Australia, it's also suggested to book flights at

    Our consultants will suggest what flights to book depending on your itinerary.
    What travel documents do I need for my trip?
    Once final payment has been received from you we will e-mail you your itinerary and travel vouchers. We will also send you a info pack including travel itinerary and vouchers to your first hotel in Australia or New Zealand. Please be sure to present these vouchers to each hotel & tour company upon commencement of each service.
    What happens if I need to change or cancel my reservation?
    All booking amendments are subject to availability.
    Amendments received before the vouchers have been issued are subject to A$25 amendment fee in addition to any amendment fees that might be charged by the supplier. These will be dependent on how late you make changes and we will advise you at the time.
    Amendments received after the vouchers have been issued are subject to A$50 amendment fee in addition to any amendment fees charged by the supplier.

    Cancellation

    We greatly appreciate if you can advise us as soon as you know if you need to cancel your reservation. Hotels and tour operators charge higher cancellation fees the later you cancel. We recommend you take out travel insurance as soon as you have paid your final balance to cover the cost of cancellation fees due to unforeseen circumstances.

    Can I change my bookings after I have commenced travelling?
    We will do our best to assist with voluntary alterations to your itinerary whilst you are traveling. Please note, usually amendment or cancellation fees apply from hotels or tour operators. We will advise you at the time of change.
    Deposits
    In order to confirm your reservations we ask for your credit card details authorizing a deposit. You will be asked for these details when you complete the online booking form.
    Final payments
    Final balance is due 14 days prior to arrival for city packs and 30 days prior for extended touring or upon confirmation for bookings made within 14 days for city packs or 30 days for extended touring.
    Charges to your card
    We will only charge your card when you authorize us. When final payment is due (usually 14 days prior to check-in unless otherwise specified on your confirmation) we will ask you to authorize the amount by faxing us with your signature. As you can appreciate as credit card merchants we are required by your bank to have your signature authorizing all charges. If we don't receive your authorization by the due date your booking may be subject to cancellation. You can also pay by direct deposit to our bank account.
    Credit Card Security
    We make every effort to keep all your personal information, including your credit card number, secure. We only allow your credit card number to be transmitted to us over the Internet if your browser supports Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption. As you enter your credit card number, SSL encodes it so it is transmitted in a format that prevents eavesdropping or data theft. Once received by our secure server, your credit card number is never transmitted over the Internet again and is not stored on our server. If your browser doesn't support SSL or you don't feel comfortable posting your credit card details on the internet you can fax them to us at (612) 9343 0533.
